Aquarium can be designed in many ways. Starting from a simple glass bowl to large aquarium it depends upon the choice and the need as per the available space. Aquariums can be made through glass, acrylic or a quadrangular RCC (cement) with glass on the front views. The acrylic tanks are costly compared to any other glass aquariums and though they are breakage-proof, they are not scratch proof. Hence, glass aquariums are the best alternative. Recently there are molded rectangular, cylindrical glass aquariums available in the market, though expensive but aesthetically more sensible. Now-a-days, due to lack of space in houses especially in living rooms people prefers to make a wooden stand for keeping house hold articles and on top of it, aquariums are placed. The shapes of different aquariums may be rectangular, triangular, hexagonal or trapezium as per the need and aesthetic sense.
